Product Info & How-To Tips
The Dog Walk Ramp will help build your dog’s ability to climb up a ramp and then confidently walk across a narrow elevated surface.
While some dogs may easily negotiate the ramps, most dogs will need some encouragement or a treat.
Always watch for signs that your dog is considering jumping off the ramps, and be sure he does not jump.
Be sure your dog learns to touch the yellow Contact Zones before jumping off the ramp.
Encourage your dog to walk under and weave through the different sections of the Dog Walk Ramp as well.
Because the ramps are relatively narrow, be sure your dog masters the A-Frame before trying the more challenging Dog Walk Ramp.
| |
The Dog Walk Ramp is constructed of 1.66″ heavy-wall aluminum pipes with two 8-foot-long inclined ramps and a 4-foot-long flat traverse. Traverse and ramps are 20″ wide so that dogs can build confidence on the elevated surfaces.
Aluminum pipes are rust-proof and feature baked-on polyester powder-coat finish for maximum resistance to corrosion from dog urine.
Ramps are constructed of heavy 10-gauge steel sheet and are completely coated with a 50 mil.-thick polyurea coating.
All walking surfaces are coated with PawsGrip™, a highly textured coating designed for maximum slip resistance for paws.
All exposed surfaces are coated and sealed with an additional polymeric top coat (PTC) for graffiti resistance and UV protection from fading.
All hardware is stainless steel and vandal-resistant.
