Graphic Pawprint  Product Info & How-To Tips

The Dog Teeter Totter can be challenging for many dogs since they can be startled by the movement and noise of impact. Because this can be an uncomfortable sensation for some dogs, they often try to jump off prematurely.

Be careful not to let your dog jump off the first time you try the teeter. Practice walking your dog slowly until he becomes comfortable with the movement.

Practice walking past the fulcrum and wait until the teeter hits the ground before proceeding. You may even want to gently lower the teeter for your dog until he gets used to the movement.

Be sure your dog learns to touch the yellow Contact Zones before jumping off the plank.

Graphic Pawprint  Material Specifications

All walking surfaces are coated with PawsGrip™, a highly textured polyurea coating designed for maximum slip resistance for paws.

Teeter Totters are supported by 1.66″ heavy-wall aluminum pipes, with a special hinge arrangement for easy movement and no squeaking.

A rubber cushion is installed at both ends of the teeter to soften the impact and reduce noise which may scare a dog. The fulcrum is offset so the teeter will always return to the proper down position while allowing the smallest dog to trigger the teeter’s movement.

The 10-foot-long teeter plank is constructed of heavy 10-gauge aluminum sheet and completely coated with a 50 mil. thick polyurea plastic coating to provide slip resistance.

All exposed surfaces are coated and sealed with an additional polymeric top coat (PTC) for graffiti resistance and UV protection from fading.

Aluminum pipe features a baked-on polyester powder-coat finish for maximum resistance to corrosion from urine.

Pivot point is stainless steel with nylon spacers to reduce noise and vibration.
